fatal error when trying to access user or admin interface

Ndjientcheu Patrick	Monday 05 February 2007 3:56:19 am Hi, i'm working with ez publish 3.8.6 and i'm using a database set up by an ez publish 3.6 installation. all the installation goes fine,but when i try to access the user interface web site (ad even admin interface), i get the following error: Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /homepages/0/d188245998/htdocs/kernel/common/eztreemenuoperator.php on line 224 Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request The execution of eZ publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below. May somenone can tell me which is the problem and how i can resolve it ? Thanks.
Claudia Kosny	Friday 09 February 2007 5:12:07 am Hi there Did you run the update scripts to make your database compatible with eZ 3.8.6? If yes please describe at bit more how you installed 3.8.6 using the old database. Also please state the version of PHP and MySQL that you use. Claudia

Hi there

Did you run the update scripts to make your database compatible with eZ 3.8.6?

If yes please describe at bit more how you installed 3.8.6 using the old database. Also please state the version of PHP and MySQL that you use.
