I am running Apache2, PHP 4.3.10 and MySQL under XP Home. I'm looking for a Content Management System for some work stuff, and would like to try EZ Publish and will get the Enterprise Edition if I find it software we can all work with.

I've unzipped the download files to a folder under htdocs, and renamed the folder ezpublish, so I can access it via localhost/ezpublish/

On running localhost/ezpublish/index.php I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class ezsys in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\ezpublish\lib\ezutils\classes\ezsys.php on line 66
Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request

The execution of eZ publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.

There is no debug information echoed to the browser screen. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong, or if I need to edit ezsys.php what I need to do to it.

Thanks and Happy New Year to everyone

See if the info here helps you...
http://www.ez.no/community/forum/install_configuration/fatal_error_cannot_redeclare_class_ezsy

and if you have to force the wizard to run again edit the CheckValidity settinging in the site.ini file to True.

Thanks Luc for your reply.

Brian in the msg you point me towards says:
"Switched from CGI version of PHP to Apache2 module."

I'm not sure what he means by this, is this a php.ini setting ?
Anyone know, and willing to save me a few hours of reading through online manuals, do I need to uninstall PHP and download a new version of Apache2, I hope not.

Eventually I've worked out what to do and how to do it for myself, it took hours so I hope ezpublish is worth it.

Does anyone here use ezpublish in a corporate environment ?
