Hi there,
i found, that ez(4) will always install the demo content (webin) classes in english language.
Even if you tell the setup wizard to set up a monolingual (german, in my case) site, you'll end up with "English language" being available in the admin interface.
That's annoying, as ez will always ask you about which language you want to edit an object in. You cannot remove the english language from admin interface, as there are (18?) classes "in English". That means, the names and attribute names of the (webin) classes are defined as "English", while other core classes (Users, setup classes) are in german language.
1. Can anyone please confirm this annoying "behaviour"?
2. Would you also call this a bug? I reported the problem of "english only" demo content quite a while ago, but... From looking into the demo packages (XML files), i didn't find any mention of the language. I.e., the packages do not seem to determine the language. Who else does? The setup wizard??
For those who have the same problem: You may define german translations for those 18 classes (just copy the english translation) and make them "Default". Then, you can -probably- delete the english language. I didn't try this yet, though. Maybe there is also a way to remove these classes and re-import them... hoping, that the package importer now uses german language... Didn't try this yet either, though. Well... The best way would be to provide "real" german/french/italian/younameit versions of the webin classes.... any volunteers?
