EzP 3.9.4 + IspConfig = EzP cache problems

Hello
I am using Ez Publish 3.9.4 inside a ISPConfig space under a Xen Debian Sarge VM.
This arrangement seems to cause trouble with cache.
The ISPConfig assigned user that is running the space is different from the one running apache2.
If I clear all caches, the EzPublish does not recreate it.
It seems unable to recreate DIRECTORIES under the cache dir.
I tried to change ownership of var/ directory to the assigned user and to the apache 2 user.
Tried to change var/ permissions to a permissive setup.
It seems that I have to manually create directories with the assigned user, change its permissions, and THEN EzP will populate it or update its FILES, changing / using ownership and permissions to the apache 2 user.
Even so, I am still struggling with some admin interface cache problems. I guess some clever expiry.php setup could help.
I already read many forum messages about cahe configurations and they "seem" ok.
Do you have any suggestions?
Regards.

Hello,
I found a somewhat reasonable workaround for the cache (re)generation problem: run apache2 as the same ispconfig's created regular user.
It is not a clean solution and do not sized all effects of it, but works for a single hosted site.
For more sites inside the ispconfig, a correct solution must be found.
Regards.
