However, my client's hosting account provides little hard disk space and I'd like to know what files can be safely removed from the standard installation, without affecting the system's functionality. For example, I don't intend to use any of the provided themes, since the site's design will be entirely customized. I also noticed the bin folder, which contains Perl scripts I have no intention of running. Deleting the bin folder is trivial, but what do I have to delete to get rid of the theme files? What other files are superfluous if I intend to hava a completely customized design? What files do I have to delete to get rid of unwanted languages? Thanks for your time, MD

Note, that ezPublish will create quite a lot of cache files and of course, all binary files, that are part of the content (downloadable files, images) are stored in the filesystem. If you think, you can cope with that and still want to "strip" the system, you should try this: - language files are in /share/translations. The *.ts files are quite large - I think the packages are in /packages. When you finished the installer and you really want to do everything "from scratch", you probably can delete this folder. Hi,
well, how much webspace do you have?
Note, that ezPublish will create quite a lot of cache files and of course, all binary files, that are part of the content (downloadable files, images) are stored in the filesystem.

If you think, you can cope with that and still want to "strip" the system, you should try this:
- language files are in /share/translations. The *.ts files are quite large
