Through my host, I can set up a new SQL database via the browser. I'm given the datbase name, username, password, and address (mysqlhost). I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put in the field for "Servername:"????

I've tried everything but I keep getting this error message:

"The database would not accept the connection, please review your settings and try again."

HELP!

Try using the address 'mysqlhost' you listed above, or try using 'localhost'. Both without the apostrophes.

also try using another port if the above does not work. If your ISP is not using a standard port for the database (3306) it might be on localhost:3400 or other port number.
