data_kernel_page_error

stephen adams	Saturday 06 November 2004 12:15:32 pm i cannot start up my laptop as i get th blue screen of death and this message that there was a data_kernel_page_error. if i let my laptop rest for 3 months i can get it to start up but never for very long it runs very slow and then crashes after about 5 minutes. plz help me anyone. nehpetssmada

Could be a hardware problem (broken CPU fan / temperature sensor, faulty memory, etc.). Do you have any insurance or guarantee? Man, why did you let the laptop rest for as long as 3 months? :-) By the way, I do not think that you'll find the help your're looking for in these forums because they are related to other things than BSOD problems. I suggest that you look up the support number (which should be printed on the papers you got from the vendor/shop) and call it! Good luck! Balazs
