Creating artivle - problem

Børge Warvik	Monday 18 September 2006 3:14:59 am Hi I've had this problem for a while and thought it was a local problem that I couldn't solve, but the I reproduced it on another site. One site is running 3.8.3 and the other 3.8.4. The problem is the intro attribute for the article class. I type info for title, short title, intro and body and whenever I try to save a new article as a draft or publish it for the first time, I get the error message saying that the intro filed is a requried field. Sometimes it works, but mostly I get this error. Anyone now what causes this?

I typed some text in a required field which was working fine but when saving the object I got the message that this field was required and that I should enter some content there. At the end I just disabled the texteditor and saved again - voila it worked. Not sure what happened though - I have not tried to troubleshoot it (yet). Greetings from Luxembourg Claudia

Take a look within the admin-panel /class/classlist/1 and check if the attribute is required by the class.

I ran into the same problem today and it turned out to be a problem with the EZxmleditor. Not sure what happened though - I have not tried to troubleshoot it (yet).
