chinese picture upload failed / english upload ok

hi,

i have an interesting problem here. picture uploads from computers running chinese windows (traditional chinese) don t work on my ez32-2 installation, the same problem ith ez32-1, but it worked on ez31-1.

no matter if an english or chinese browser was used the picture simply would not show up, but the dataset (image title, description, ..) is there. the file simply does not exist in the respective image directory (original). i tried english file names during upload but nothing changed.

the ez instllation i am running is in english. during the whole process and on the ez site no chineses characters are used...

when using japanese windows or english windows everything works fine. so far i tried 3 chinese computers, all failed (using chinese internet explorer 6, english opera 7.2)

does anybody experience the same trouble?

of course everything is ok with the permissions. because i am able to upload pictures from the english and japanese computers which are located in different buildings and all are running windows xp.

but it s good to know that you don t experience the same problems on chinese computers. my chinese computers are all located in taiwan running traditional chinese windows, what about yours, simplified or traditional?
