hi,

I just installed ez publish 3.6.1 on a SuSe Linux 9.2 evireonment with Apache 2.0.50-7.3 and php 4.3.8-8.7 session extension and extensions for picture manipulation are added to php.

now when I tried to walk trough the tutorial How to build an ezpublish site I encountered a problem while triing to add a custom template as an override to the /node/full/view.tpl.

I entered all needed information requested by the form in the administration but when I hit OK the admin panel freeezes and cannot be used until I restart Firefox. (I used Empty as base template)

Can anybody help me in resolving this problem? how do I manually add the override template and add the specific node it should be used for?

changing the rights (chmod -R a+rwx) on the complete design folder did not solve the problem.

Tanks in advance

you might get better answers for this if posted to the setup and design forum.
However in answer to your question, locate the override.ini.append.php file, which is where all the overrides are set (there are a lot of examples already in that file of how to override things) and theres also more documentation you should be able to find using that filename.

Hope that helps.
