Sorry if I am missing something extremely obvious here (as I probably am!), but I cannot for the life of me get the Wizard running. I've followed the instructions of a normal install to a T, I am quite certain. I cannot find an answer anywhere either, so my last resort is to ask.

All the files have been downloaded and unpacked. Uploaded to the root webdirectory on my server, and I have accessed index.php to start the wizard. However it does not start. I have tried this twice, and also tried tweaking various settings in site.ini and setup.ini, index.php, pre_check.php and so on. All I get is the blank index.php page...

I have a feeling the problem is with my host. Feel free to check: http://test.xio.no/phpinfo.php

PHP Version 4.3.4
Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) mod_python/2.7.8 Python/2.2.2 mod_webapp/1.2.0-dev mod_perl/1.27 mod_throttle/3.1.2 PHP/4.3.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2510 mod_ssl/2.8.14 OpenSSL/0.9.7c
mysql - 3.23.58

Thanks for any help!

Hm. Strange, indeed. The only thing, that i could see from your PHPinfo, is that open_basedir is set.
ezPublish sometimes had problems with this earlier, but i don't think, that this is it.
Also, safe_mode is on and i don't know, if this setup is supported with ez3.
I think, safe_mode beeing enabled requires, that the PHP files (index.php and pre_check.php) must be owned by the User, that runs the webserver (apache).
But the install wizard should have told you about this.

You should NOT change the PHP files themself.
