Better eZ Upgrade Documentation

A request: I think it would help many, many users of eZPublish if the eZ 3.x-3.y upgrade process had MUCH better documentation. I am hoping that this is something that might be added to the new documentation site when it launches.

Specifically, I think the various CLI-PHP update scripts need to be better documented. Tell us in a logical, structured fashion what each and every CLI update script does. It will be easier for everyone if there's no longer a need to hunt through the forums for answers on this.

Also, I think it would make sense to create a short piece of "ugrade documentation" for EACH newly-released version of ezPublish, with specific information about "gotchas" to be aware of in upgrading to the newly-released version.

What does everyone think?

Agreed, it's a very active topic. One that I have been answering regularly. <grin> but my work is nothing that better documentation can't negate.
