Can anyone help me with this? I have tried adding my host to hosts file using either 127.0.0.1 or the server name won't work.
I changed the httpd.conf

AllowOverride None

to

 AllowOverride AuthConfig

(just in case) as I read in a post here, but that didn't help-

I have followed the wizard installation ok, it finishes correctly but when I try to access the links given in the last page it gives the above message error.
I am including configuration information:

SuSE 8.2
Apache/1.3.27
PHP Version 4.3.1
mysql Ver 11.18 Distrib 3.23.55, for suse-linux (i686)
Ezpublish 3.3

Regards.

I am having the exact same problem when trying to run the install script on my hosting account at Buzzsawhosting(http://www.buzzsawhosting.com). They keep telling me it's the script's problem.

Doesn't look like anyone is answering this problem here. Does anyone know why this happens?

You might want to try dropping a test html file in your root folder (where the index.php is for ezpublish) and see if you can pull that up in a browser. Do you have any other sites running successfully on the server? Just trying to narrow it down to an eZ problem or a server config problem.
