abdalla chakik	Thursday 14 July 2005 12:01:00 am hi all, i search in the ez page and forumes for a topic to learn how can i connect the ez publish with a sql database.i red the "Module tutorial (Part 1)" and it didn`t work and i look in the forum and i can`t find anyone can help me.why.anyone know how can i connect the ez publish with a databse sql.i try to use the extensions on "Import/export" in the contribs section and also didn`t work.plz,can anyone tell me how???????.and thankx.
Mikael Johansson	Thursday 14 July 2005 3:11:02 am You have installed eZpublish? If you did, you instructed eZpublish to use either a mysql or a postgresql database. So all you need to do (in I understand you correctly) is to connect to that database. The database is external to eZpublish and you don't need to connect through eZ to get access to the database. abdalla chakik	Sunday 17 July 2005 11:09:46 pm hi thank you all for your replys, i have a external database and i want to connect the ez publish to that databse to let my users see the infotmation in that database.i use the ezpublish-3.6.0, and i try to use the module by reading: http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/development/extensions/module/module_tutorial_part_1 but it dosen`t work.if anyone can help me.plz.my email :[email protected] to talk whith anyone want to help me on messenger.and thanks
