A lot of blogs out there support the concept of categories (levels). If you look at the RSS feed of such a site it will contain an xml tag called 'category' as part of the item node like this:

...
<category domain="http://www.example.com/Categories">/DailyDigest/Poetry</category>
</item>

So in this case our item has a root level 'Categories' with a subsection 'DailyDigest' which has a subsection 'Poetry'.

It seems like you should be able to have a blogging folder that contains weblogs and other folders that represent categories. Of course when you set up an RSS export EZ states it will only look one level deep for five items.

Does EZ Publish support the use of categories? Ah sure would like ta use 'em!

If anyone has any information on this or more specifics on how the RSS XML is generated and can be modified I would appreciate it. An example site that uses the concept of categories can be found at http://makeoutcity.com/ which has its XML defined at this url: http://www.makeoutcity.com/RSS/index.xml

Thanks!
