Contactivity (http://www.contactivity.com) is a research and consulting firm that helps organizations and companies to make optimal use of the Internet to implement communication and information projects. We are based in Leiden, the Netherlands. We are looking for an enthoustiastic web developer with relevant and completed qualifications and a minimum of 3 years experience with the development of web applications using LINUX, Apache, MySQL, PHP and eZ publish.
The web developer will:
(1) Develop web applications using eZ publish 3;
(2) Develop extensions and datatypes for eZ publish 3;
(3) Provide support and maintenance for eZ publish 2 applications; and
(4) Manage the webservers;
Requirements:
(1) Experience with LINUX systems;
(2) Experience with Apache;
(3) Minimum of three years' demonstrated experience with the development of web applications using PHP/MySQL and/or eZ publish; and
(4) Experience with cross-browser compatible (D)HTML/css/Javascript voor MS IE, Netscape en Opera;
We are looking for a developer with:
(1) An active interest in web applications and open source solutions in general and eZ publish in particular;
(2) Good organisational ability and a willingness to assume responsibility for assigned tasks and to work with tight deadlines;
