Using / Configuration of webalizer for website's statistics

Norman Leutner	Wednesday 11 January 2006 3:11:51 pm Hi folks, I'm using webalizer for my websites for nice graphical statistics which are also shown to my customers. Currently I don't have a specific webalizer.conf for ez... I'm using PageType * to get the page hits... Is anyone here familiar with webalizer in combination with ezpublish? Would be nice if you can give me a hint for my configuration files. Thanks in advance. Tore Skobba	Thursday 12 January 2006 1:34:16 am hmm what do you mean? I am also using webalizer but I do not do anything special with my httpd.conf, nor any other files.. For an example se here: http://www.skobba.com/usage/. If you need any of the reference file for this then just ask me. Bascially I have done it by using default log file, only added some configuration due to virtual host. Then each night crontab is runned with: 30 00 * * * /usr/bin/webalizer -c ~skobba_hp/conf/webalizer.conf Where webalizer.conf is almost default conf file, just changed LogFile, Hostname Cheers

Please let me know when they are ready: [email protected] I think the default configuration of webalizer in not as powerfull as it might be for a customer. It's to confusing for the customers with the standard cofiguration. With a few changes reguarding the counted hits to files it would be a better "giveaway tool".
