Hello.

I have eZ published installed on a FreeBSD box for a website I'm developing, and running in a named-based virtual host context under Apache.

It appears when eZ publish creates the cached files for images and site content that it's creating the files with the ownership of Apache itself (apache), and not the owner of the virutal host.

Is there some way to force a uid/gid to eZ publish so all files created will be owned by the virtual web username and not the web server?

Thanks.

Try to use the user and group directive of apache within your virtual host.

For more information consult the apache docs
