transaction error while searching non-ASCII strings

Im running Ez Publish 3.9.0(+ ezwebin extension) with MySQL 5.0, with utf 8 support. In debug output it seems to have problem with adding data to search statistics table, complaining about column data are too long. Everything else like adding or modifing content works well, also search composed from ASCII chars works. Also tried new instalation without ezwebin extension, and still experiencing same problem with search. i have checked my config several times but have no clue what went wrong :(. If someone experienced same problem and found way to solve it, please give me know. Many thanks. Best regards
