Could someone help me this one question about PHP version?
My provider has PHP 4.1.x.
Is it possible to run eZ 3 under that?

Yes, eZ publish requires PHP 4.1.0 or higher so your provider should be sufficent.
However there may be some problems if PHP safe mode or open_basedir restrictions are in use. You should ask your provider if there are any problems with this?

Hi, I thought requirements would be PHP 4.2.3, as in doc/INSTALL.

The requirement in doc/INSTALL were set due to some session bugs in some of the previous versions of PHP. However I believe eZ publish will run on 4.1.x.

You should tell your ISP to upgrade. There have been various security flaws since 4.1.0
