PDF charset Problem

Hi,
when a create a PDF with a german umlaut like 'Ä' (&#196) the result within the pdf is show as 'Ä'

Is this a general charset problem within pdf?

Has anybody a suggestion for me to solve this problem?

Ok, I found the bug report under
http://ez.no/community/bugs/pdf_content_pdf_problem_with_utf_8_and_or_german_umlauts

I made some changes to the ezpdf.php and it works fine...
