OSC integration?

Greg W	Friday 08 August 2003 8:46:08 pm Hi new to CMS and portals etc and I am looking at what product to go with, eZ publish looks very good but I also use OsCommerce for our online shop - does, or has anyone, integrated the two together? Thanks Greg

All in all I think that there is a lot of overlap between the two. What features of OSC do you want that eZ publish doesn't have? OsCommerce is a great package and I think there are quite a few features that can (and should) be added to eZ publish. In Ez you can develop everything, what you can do with osc or phpbb2. I made some shops with osc, but update with own layout and improvements is terrible. Here you have XML in database, so the dream of crossmedial publishing is possible. With osc you get faster results but later more problems. And do erverything in one place is better for customer.
