I'm having some trouble with a site. A particular node/object seems to be gone. When I try to access it by http://admin.myhost.com/media/images/folder/ I get the following error:

The requested page could not be displayed. (3)

The requested object is not available.

Possible reasons:

    * The ID number of the object is incorrect. Please check the URL for spelling mistakes.
    * The object is no longer available.

and none of the content managers working on the site have edited or moved the object (or so they say). It is not present in the trash. What's weird is that I can access http://admin.myhost.com/media/images/folder/someimage without trouble. AND, an article referencing the object still displays the image after having cleared the cache on it. What's going on?

To make matters more weird:
This folder is where we keep images for articles in a corresponding folder under content structure. This folder is gone too from its parent listing too! However, if I access it by URL, it shows fine, with the exception of this:

Sub items [25]

The current item does not contain any sub items.

Which makes no sense, and the subitems are reachable by url. Anyone got any idea about what's going on? The nodes are not hidden, and so far (it's still cached), the public site works well...

I've experienced a similar problem: Sometimes, returning from "Browse" for adding a related object to an article, instead of the article I was editing, some other object is opened - and not in a new draft, but in the currently published version!

Now, I twice accidentally clicked on "Discard draft" in such situations, which deleted the edited draft. Since both were objects with a single version, they were gone for good :(

The only safe way seems to be to safe the edited "draft" and then return to object one really wanted to edit (you can do that via the browsers history, at least for me everything did work fine the second time).

EZP 3.8.1 and PHP 4.4.1. Is there some way I could regenerate the lost objects? I have daily database-backups, but don't want to revert the whole database.
