New object versions loose translations randomly (3.8.6)

Something strange is happening with one of our eZ publish (3.8.6) installations. All of the sudden we begun to loose translations of objects. For example:

a) We have an object with three different translations (pl, en, de). When its edited (for example pl), all other translations (en, de) disappear (are no longer available). It doesn't matter which language we edit.

b) We have an object in a language (let's say en). We add a translation (let's say de). After publishing, we no longer have en, it's lost.

The worst thing is that there is no consistency to it whatsoever, no regularity at all. Sometimes it is possible to publish multilanguage content, sometimes we loose translations.

We have no debug warnings.
Here you can see a version history:

And a fair portion of versions unmanagable for some reason...:

We've had several 3.8.6 in operation, it has never happened before.

Can anyone suggest a possible reason? Any solutions?
Thank you!

This has been another situation, when I submitted a technical problem to the forum and got no reply. It's possible that the problems I submit are too rare or maybe too difficult/easy... there's also a possibility that this is not the right place to submit technical problems (errors). Can anyone give some suggestions as how to handle such problems so that I don't misuse the forum and also get some feedback? Thanks!

Hi Piotek

Please always consult the issue tracker if you have any problems which look like bugs, it could have been reported before.

This report could be related:
http://issues.ez.no/9867

Does upgrading to 3.8.7 solve the problem?

There is also a couple of editing related bugs fixed in 3.8.8.

For instance this:

The forum is great for questions that someone knows the answers to or someone else is experiencing the same issue..

Guys,

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to get familiar with the issue tracker then.

That one I don't believe we have tried so we'll probably give it a shot this coming week.
