is there a URL alias limit?

cousin mosquito	Sunday 19 September 2010 9:17:27 pm This morning I tried to add a new URL alias. I can create it, it says it is accepted, but it does not work when I try to navigate to that page on my site. All of my pre-existing URL aliases work. Any new ones I create do not. Is there a limit on the amount of URL aliases I can create? Thankyou. Asking the dumb questions for your benefit

cousin mosquito	Monday 20 September 2010 10:00:14 pm Ok, its a long story : ) We got search-spidered by some of our own people, the spider got stuck in a loop and brought down our server. In the panicked process of getting the server back up and running we changed the DB to another one (we hadnt identified the cause of the crash at this point) This was where we messed up. Self inflicted wound. Our normal DB man is away on holiday. Thanks for your responses guys. Asking the dumb questions for your benefit
