This is probably an IE8 setting problem - not an eZ Publish problem -- but hear me out. I have created a user-only site for our company, which requires member login to browse. This is working very well, having been tested on many computers, operating systems, browsers, etc. EXCEPT: on the company CEO's computer (of course), running Windows XP, using IE8. After logging in to the site upon every page change he is required to log in again. I have:
- set IE8 security settings to Default
- set IE8 privacy settings to Default
- set IE8 Compatibility View to Off
- Cleared IE8's temporary Internet files
- Examined all of the Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced settings for restrictive setup
And still the problem persists. If anyone is aware of what might be causing this (within IE8 or otherwise) I would like to hear from you. Thanks in advance!
