I played around with some settings in my EZ installation and I somehow disallowed the admin account to log in. I change the password and I think I place the account in some very wrong location. Anyway, how can I reset the admin account with it's default "publish" password and original roles? I have access to phpMyAdmin so I can run SQL code.
Thanks! Andreas

Hi,
can you sucessfully log in with that account? I mean: do you know the password?
If you just moved the user to some other group, you should be able to move him back to the "administrator users" group.
Quick idea:
You need the node id of the "administrator users" group (from the ezcontentobject_tree table). When you have this Node ID, you must find the node "administrator user" (not the content object, but the node!) and fix the "parent node" field and the path fields (one with numbers and one with the URL string).
Maybe this will do. You could of course import an SQL dump of a fresh installation, but you will loose all your content, when you do this! The "problem" is, that users and user groups are just "objects", just like an article. So, they they in the same table... Just the password stuff is in a seperate table, but i think, that's not your problem.
