ez publish statistics

Anca Grozea	Wednesday 08 April 2009 7:58:10 am Hello, Can you please advice what should we use on an EzPublish Intranet site for statistics? We have AwStats but that includ eonly the info logged by web server. We would like some statistics more personalized for an ez publish site not general ones for sites hosted on Apache. I found an extension which works with Google Analytics but we can not use that for Intranet. Any ideas? Thank you! Anca
Patrick Kaiser	Wednesday 08 April 2009 9:44:40 am Did you have a look at "Piwik" (http://piwik.org/)? They want to become a real open source google analytics alternative, you can install it on your own server in minutes.. You can track page views either by including some javascript generated by piwik (its more or less the same as google analytics) or by directly calling the api from php-code (didnt try that though). We run it in production for a few month now together with google analytics and it works pretty good. Tracking results seem to be pretty much the same for both (Piwik ~ 5%+). Best regards, Patrick
