error 2002 (hy000)

alyssa coca	Thursday 06 January 2011 12:33:21 am hi to all.. i just want to know if how to resolve error 2002 (hy000) in mysql.. my ezpublish site is perfectly working then suddenly, when i want to access mysql, this error occurred.. "ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)"
