conflict resolving if article gets edited simultaneously?

Scenario: Editor 1 loads editing form for article A Editor 2 loads editing form for article A Editor 1 goes away and drinks a coffe. Editor 2 edits the article and saves it. Editor 1 comes back, edits the article and saves it. Which version will now be active in the database? Or does the article get a lock when somebody edits it? Or does someone get a error message? The last published draft will be the current visible version. The objects are not locked, it's legal to have n drafts of the same object. In 3.1 we've added a warning page where you will see which people is currently editing the current object.
