We have two servers that are identical, one is production and the other is a development server. I can log into the production server fine, but I have a log-in problem on the development server. When I try to log into the admin site to edit content on the development server, I put the username and password in (both of which are correct) and hit the log in button. Instead of logging me in, the page just refreshes with both username and password fields blank. Any ideas?

Anyone have any idea? To give you more detail: we're running ez on a Windows Server 2003, Apache 2.2, Mysql 4, PHP 5. The admin site gives no error when I try to log in with user name and password, it just refreshes the page. Thanks.

Hey Josh, I think you should check first the permissions/ownership on the /var folder, which needs to be writeable by your webserver.

Thanks for the advice, Marty. I checked the permissions on the 'var' folder, but the Apache user had the correct rights. I happy to report that I figured out what the problem was, however. The ezsession table was corrupt, so I repaired it and it works now. Thanks.

Is this eZ Publish 4.1? if so then there is a know session cache issue mentioned in comment on the 4.1 article with patch. If not, try to enable debugOutput and debugRedirection in site.ini to look for any clues on what is going on.
