A Chmod question...

Greg Sanderson	Monday 21 April 2008 1:26:11 am Hi I now have my eZ site working however for development I have set the permissions of all files and folders to 777. However when I chmod them all to something like 755 the images don't appear and there could be other problems I have not yet noticed. So could anyone tell me what are the minimum chmod values I should use for the various files and folders so the site still works properly? Thank you.

hi, just enable Validity Checking in your settings/override/site.ini.append.php

[SiteAccessSettings]
CheckValidity=true

ezPublish will show you the correct permissions of your files.

After you have modified your settings, just put it back to

[SiteAccessSettings]
CheckValidity=false
