Just to be sure of what we are doing, is it correct to execute:

updatesearchindex.pho

only once you install solr, and then in the cron

  • ezfindexcontet
  • ezfoptimizeindex

I mean: updatesearchindex.pho does not have to be scheduled as a cron jobs, does it?

Thanks

Nope.

It is useful from time to time if you need to reindex everything but it does not be in cronjob.

Use the dedicated indexer from ez find, it avoids doing commits/optimize with every object
