Enabling eZFind in extension siteaccesses

Geoff Bentley	Wednesday 04 March 2009 7:02:58 pm Currently, if you use multiple site extensions on a single eZ Publish install, you can't enable/disable ezFind on a site-by-site basis - it must be enabled in settings/override/site.ini in order to work properly. Is this a feature or a bug? The install doc says: 3. Enable the extension in eZ Publish. Do this by opening settings/override/site.ini.append.php , and add in the [ExtensionSettings] block: ActiveExtensions[]=ezfind To get the correct templates for ezwebin, ezfind must be enabled before the ezwebin extension. But if you only enable ezwebin in your site extension siteaccess, you're stuffed?

There doesn't appear any way to do this currently without eZ Find failing, unless I'm completely wrong, which I could be.

If I understand you problem, I think but i didn't try it because i don't use ezwebin.
Enable ezfind before ezwebin:

 ActiveExtensions[]=ezfind
 ActiveExtensions[]=ezwebin

if not, it will be nice to give me the solution.

There doesn't appear any way to do this currently without eZ Find failing, unless I'm completely wrong, which I could be.
