Running eZ Publish daemons in shared virtual hosting environment

Introduction

At the end of this tutorial, you should have enough knowledge for setting up the eZ Find Solr daemon, and ezodf (OpenOffice.org) conversion daemon in a shared virtual hosting environment.

OK, it does have the startup scripts for RHEL, but it describes a general idea that can be used for any shared virtual hosting server. Also, if on a common shared hosting RHEL server you ask your admin to install a RPM from xrow he will probably ask you "What is xrow and is it included in the latest stable RHEL distro?". I encourage you to read the whole tutorial, especialy the "Situation and demands" part to get the complete idea what this tutorial is about. -- Nothing is impossible. Not if you can imagine it! rpm --nosignature -i http://packages.xrow.com/redhat/xrow-repo-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
