When refer object relations attribut and send publish shows , object relations missing

I put an objects relation attribute in columnist_artilce to select the class objects columnist by list by checkbox. But when I add this object relation , getting object relation doesn't exit.But when I remove authors attribute from class columnist_artilce, it is working. Do anybody know what is wrong from above , please help . Is this object relation only refer the attribute that we have mentioned? Any idea will be helpfull .
