what about PHP 5 ?

Does anybody know if ez publish will benefit from this php evolution when the system will take into account this major upgrade ? I don't mean, will ez publish use it, of course when it is stable ez publish will probably be ported on that version but can we expect better performance if ez is redesigned to work specifically on PHPO 5 ? Especially in terms of object oriented approach, memory usage...

Of course, PHP5 is still very young and will certainly improve over the next year. However, we are quite certain that PHP5 will lead to code that is far easier to understand.
