I'm currently creating a custom module to allow for an existing database to be accessed via eZ publish. This module also will allow for the editing of the content in the database. I'm doing this by extending the eZPersistentObject class. Items in the database have an associated image. I had hoped to utilise the ezImage data type functionality for the management of these images. Initial investigations indicate this may not be possible as the data type is linked to a contentobject_attribute_id. I believe that if I do utilise the data type in my module then it has the possibility of interfering content modules images. Can anyone tell me if what I've described is possible?
