Hi,

I must express huge gratitude to Paul Forsyth for posting the Callme Extension (see: http://pubsvn.ez.no/viewcvs/community/trunk/extension/callme/) ... I've been experimenting and trying to pass variables between templates for way too long. Only recently discovered the callme extension.

I have used the "Callme" extension and can now pass variables from a form in one template to another template. I am trying to get slightly different functionality from it.

Question - Sending Output to a Content Node?
Paul has used the callme function to go to a module (ie /callme/thankyou etc). Has anyone used it to load a content node (eg ../callme/thankyou/234, where 234 is nodeId? The callme function has the effect of pulling the site location out of my nav system, so I'd like to add a NodeID parameter so that can be used by the module (not sure how yet). Has anyone got any clues or examples?

Question - URL Post Parameters?
I also want to add Post parameters to links so that I can pass variables to a template. In Paul's example of the callme function he has links/buttons which produce urls like "http://www.pobox.co.uk/callme/callme?about=Linux%20basic%20server", but mine do not show this post variable information (ie just .../callme/callme/). Again, any clues, insights or examples?

Many thanks

- Paul

Both of your questions relate to passing in other variables to the script. Which is your preferred way? Via the url, or by using the GET/POST methods of the form submit. Both are simple to do.
