SSL apache rewrite rule won't allow .excel file downloads

Brendan Pike	Tuesday 25 May 2004 6:10:12 am I'm using the following rewrite rule which works great until today when we discovered it does not allow xls file downloads, but works fine with pdf, doc files. Anyone ever heard of this issue? RewriteCond %{SERVER_POST} !^443$ RewriteRule ^/(.*)$ https://www.website.com/$1 [L,R] www.dbinformatics.com.au We are always interested in hearing from experienced eZ PHP programmers and eZ template designers interested in contract work.

Brendan Pike	Tuesday 25 May 2004 8:04:20 pm Yeh but because ezp doesn't currently support enforcing SSL over specific site areas we are forced to simply secure the entire site with the above rewrite rule, but it has this strange excel site effect. Tony Wood	Wednesday 26 May 2004 12:37:46 am Brendan, Add this as a suggestion to the bug report section. I think most people would like the ability to force SSL at certain points.
