Special characters gone..

I imported my extension package in a new eZ installation and since then, in there, all the special characters within the templates' content, so in the .tpl as well as in the translation.ts files, aren't displayed properly but replaced with a strange symbol, while the arabic characters of the arabic site are made of ??????? (..question marks) What the reason can be? ... Many, many, many thanks! loredanaebook.it

The problem had to do with the .tpl files encoding other than UTF-8: In the previous eZ installation I used to edit files from Plesk but since I moved to this new server, started editing them from a web editor which default encoding was iso-8859-1. loredanaebook.it

Look at the value of [CharsetSettings]DefaultTemplateCharset=utf-8 in template.ini
