Hi,

I have always a :

[ Feb 22 2007 17:22:45 ] [192.168.16.54] eZINI:
Undefined group: 'DebugSettings'

in the error.log

I have

[DebugSettings]
Debug=inline
DebugByIP=disabled

in my site.ini

Someone know why ?

Thanks

Hi Sébastine,

This can occur if for some reason, Ezpublish crashes in the middle of the rendering process. Did you get any Fatal Error ?

No, not another fatal error,

If I remember correctly, this log is present since the installation. I have just decided to delete it...

I would know if this error appears on another person, else I will see the code which generate in the kernel...

But, I think is a little bug of configuration but I don't know what...

Thanks for your help

EDIT:
Erros when I activate the debug output

Hi Sébastien

What do you see if you view the site.ini settings via the admin interface ?

Setup -> Ini Settings -> Select site.ini, Select siteacess, Select

Have you tried clearing the cache?

Cheers
Bruce

In the admin interface I see all the configuration of site.ini:

DebugSettings (12) [ajouter paramètre] Emplacement Valeur
	DebugOutput siteaccess enabled	Modifier
	AlwaysLog default [0] error Modifier
	ScriptDebugOutput default disabled	Modifier
	DebugByIP override disabled Modifier
	DebugIPList default Modifier
	DebugUserIDList default Modifier
	Debug override "inline"	Modifier
	DebugRedirection siteaccess disabled	Modifier
	DisplayDebugWarnings default disabled	Modifier
	DebugLogOnly default disabled Modifier
	DebugToolbar default enabled Modifier
QuickSettingsList default default default default default default
[0] DebugSettings; DebugOutput; site.ini; Debug output
[1] DebugSettings; DebugRedirection; site.ini; Debug redirection
[2] TemplateSettings; Debug; site.ini; Template debug
[3] TemplateSettings; ShowXHTMLCode; site.ini; Inline template debug
[4] TemplateSettings; ShowUsedTemplates; site.ini; List of used templates
[5] DatabaseSettings; SQLOutput; site.ini; SQL debug output

And yes I have clear the cache, and not one time, a lot !

BUT, I progress, in my site i have installed the xajax extension and when I delete his call, the error log debug setting disappears...

Thanks for your help

OK is fixed.

I have since the begin the xajax extension installed.
In this extension the xajax.ini was stay in the install directory, so eZ search the DebugSettings of the xajax.ini but It dosn't find them because the file wasn't in the setting directory.

I move it and is ok ;)

Thanks for your help

Hi Sébastien

Sorry to hear you had some troubles with my xajax extension :-)

It probably would be better if eZINI reports the specific ini file which is missing a setting too. I'll post an issue for this: http://issues.ez.no/10315
