Related Links Categorization

I am fairly new to ezp.

I see that you can use the related objects functionality to create related cross linking within the site.

i.e. Article1 is related to Article2 so please put a link their.

What I would like to do is to categorize these links. So I could have a list of related news stories, followed by a list of related main pages, then maybe a list of external sites etc.

As anybody done this before?

I'm not sure I understand how that would work.

Say I wanted categories / types such as:
local news
national news
events
external links

How would I go about it?
