I created two new project on projects.ez.no but they were not approved because the project name was violating ez.no terms. So I tried to rename them to:
But when I submitted the new data I gto the error: UNIX name: This name is already in use. Choose another one. And now I cannot edit these two projects nor create new ones with the same name. So could some:
- see where's the problem and fix this bug in the projects approval system
- clean this up so that I can create new projects with the correct names
The collaboration items are this ones: http://projects.ez.no/collaboration/item/full/822 http://projects.ez.no/collaboration/item/full/821

Hi Marko, Would you mind trying the following URL : http://projects.ez.no/content/draft and tell us whether you can edit and re-submit both projects ? Cheers,

OK, I tried to reedit them using this link, but I got the error: UNIX name: This name is already in use. Choose another one. for both of them. Should I try to delete the drafts and recreate new objects? Or you first want to inspect this further?

Yes please, at least for one of them only, to test it out. If this turns out to be the right solution, we'll do the same for the second one ! Cheers, and sorry for the hassle Marko.

OK, now I (accidentally) tried this... - edit one of the drafts (saarchive) - on the next page press the "Cancel" button in the edit interface After that the saarchive is gone from my drafts, but I still cannot create a new project with this name. I get the same error: UNIX name: This name is already in use. Choose another one. What's the next step?

Hi Marko, let me try to remove these objects from the database at all. Priori to this : do you confirm that you have all data backed-up somewhere ? Cheers,

Nicolas, what's the status with this issuee? I still see the problematic items in my collaboration list on project.ez.no.

Hello, I think community contributions system has to be rebuilt entirely. We can't publish contributions easily (extensions, updates...etc) and we just don't have a clear and single place to manage everything. There is no built-in upgrade manager to install/remove/upgrade contributions. We lost the download history and related forum topics are dispersed.
