Hi all,

Not sure if i've missed something in the user permission setup, so here goes...
Is it at all possible to have different privillages for different users on the same class?

For example if i have two navigation items called 'about us' and 'location' that are both of the same class ie. a content class called 'info', is it possible to for 1 editor to only be able to edit the 'about us' section, and a different editor to edit the 'location' section. Or is the only way to do this to create two seperate classes instead of using just the one?

My secon question is if you have the same class under two different navigation items, say 'news' under both 'about us' and 'location'. Is it possible to give different permissions to users also, or is it the case that if the user has the permissions to see class 'news' it can be seen whereever that class is used within the site.

Hope this makes sense,

Thanks in advance,
Gavyn

It is possible if you will use different sections for them.
In 3.1 it will be possible to limit access to subtree or to one node.

Thanks for that, seems a good solution so long as the site doesn't get to big, in terms of number of editors that is. Looking forward to 3.1 :)
