Passing eZ session ID to keep user logged in

Hi,

I'm working on integrating eZ with a different system. One of the functions is a login procedure which consists of the following workflow:

1. The Foregin system posts a user id and password as XML data to an eZP extension URL.
2. The eZP extension checks if the login data is valid by attempting to login the user and returns an XML response to the Foreign system which says whether or not the user data was valid. If the user data was valid, the URL that the Foreign system should redirect to is also included.

My question is this: Is there any way (and how) to preserve the login by, for instance, passing a session id as a part of the return URL?

Thanks in advance !

Sincerely,

Hi,

Have a look at the SSO (single sign on) new feature, it probably offers what you want.
