I created an own content class in admin range called
seondhand for second hand products.
I can see my onw content class under setup/classes.
I can use this new content class to build new content.
like folder, article, products, secondhand...

In the live site i logged in as editor.
I see the website toolbar.
But i can not see my own content class.

Wich ini files i have to override with name of
my own content class called secondhand?
How i have to make an entry in the necessary
ini files?

Hi,

you probably need to edit the policies for editors in "Roles and policies" in the admin interface.

I am logging in as admin with admin rights and without restrictions.
Why i can not see in the list of classes my own content class
in the select box of website toolbar?
As admin i believe to have more rights as an editor, isn't it?

Where i have to add my own content class in an ini file and
how to write the correctly entry in this ini file?
The websitetoolbar.ini is not the right place. I have try it this:

[WebsiteToolbarSettings]
# Controls for which content classes eZODF buttons are displayed in the Website Toolbar.
ODFDisplayClasses[]
ODFDisplayClasses[]=documentation_page
ODFDisplayClasses[]=blog
ODFDisplayClasses[]=blog_post
ODFDisplayClasses[]=folder
ODFDisplayClasses[]=article
ODFDisplayClasses[]=article_mainpage
ODFDisplayClasses[]=article_subpage
ODFDisplayClasses[]=event
ODFDisplayClasses[]=my_own_contentclass

but there is nothing to see of my own content class in the selectbox of websitetoolbar.

* Have you remembered to assign the class to a class group?
* the policy Atle is talking about is 'Websitetoolbar' -> 'use', where you can define which classes that should have the tool bar visible.
* the setting your talking about is for ODF (Open document format) import / export support, but you need to setup odf.ini as well if you want to use it on the new class
* Make sure your class is not in the HiddenContentClasses[] setting in websitetoolbar.ini

In the admin range there is my custom class under content.
In the admin range i can use my own class, make new
custom content with this class. Therefore i believe,
that my class is realy under the class group content.
I can see it unter setup / classes / content / my_custom_class.
My custom class has under classes / content the ID 43.
It is an real content class. On the live site i can edit
an existing content as my custom_class. But i can not create
content on live site with website toolbar, because my
custom class is not available in select box in website toolbar.

* the policy Atle is talking about is 'Websitetoolbar' -> 'use', where you can define which classes that should have the tool bar visible.

Yes, under Editor (roles and rights) there is an entry like this above.
I can not see my my_custom_class there in this list.

I am an admin. Why i have to update this list 'Websitetoolbar' -> 'use' and
include my my_custom_class under the editor?

under editor:

websitetoolbar  use  Class( Folder , Link , Article , Article (main-page) , Article (sub-page) , Blog , Blog post , Product , Feedback form , Frontpage , Documentation page , Multicalendar , Poll , File , Flash , Image , Quicktime , Windows media , Real video , Gallery , Forum , Event , Event calendar , Forums )

missing my my_custom_class.

But under admin:

Zugewiesene Rollen [1]

Name Einschränkung
 Administrator Keine Einschränkung

Verfügbare Richtlinien [1]

Rolle Modul Funktion Einschränkung
Administrator alle Module alle Funktionen Keine Einschränkungen

there are no restrictions no limit on using websitetoolbar... i am admin ?!
