How can I create a custom tag like the Factbox or Quote -- that is, one that allows the user to write content inside it in the Online Editor? My tags all just show up as the "custom tag" questionmark icon, that has to be right-clicked on in order to be edited.

Thanks!

Hi,

You need to add a similar line to content.ini.append

[CustomTagSettings]
AvailableCustomTags[]=my_tag

but remember NOt this line ( it is for inline tag only)

IsInline[my_tag]=true

I have done what you recommend already, but my custom tag just shows up as a "question mark" icon (the Custom Tag icon, actually) inside the online editor window. How can I get it to show up as a box that I can write text inside IN the online editor? (like Quote and Factbox). I don't want to have to right-click on it and enter text in the popup Properties window.

Note that it works fine on the user site, just not in the online editor.

Got it! Actually, here is what I had that DIDN'T work:

[CustomTagSettings]
AvailableCustomTags[]=pullbox
IsInline[pullbox]=false

Now, you would think that would work, right? It's somewhat confusing, but apparently placing the IsInline[custom_tag]=false directive in the content.ini override actually sets it to true...

Shouldn't IsInline[my_custom_tag]=false work the same as not putting the line in at all?
