hi there,
Hope someone can help me. Yesterday I was trying to copy lengthly newsletters (which are web pages at the moment) into news article. Online Editor is not concerned about the length of the article, but the only problem coming is the special characters, like
1. Single Quotes
2. Double Quotes
3. Hyphen's
etc. I have to copy large number of newsletters from some another site as ezpublish 3.6.1 news articles. Is there a best way to copy which can generate a validated Xhtml code.

hi, Thanks for your reply. So this means Online Editor from Ez systems is not good enough to handle all the special characters. I will try, lets see what the output comes with.... Is it working really well with ezpublish. Have you tested it??

Hi, Due to the storage structure of the xml field, you might still have problems copy pasting content from other pages, no matter what editor you use. As about how stable is the new editor, I suggest to give it a try to see how it works for your specific needs, and I can tell you that Liu and others are very active on this extension and so far have been quick to solve the problems that occured. Let us know if it solves your problem. X+

I think ezpublish online Editor is buggy. I am copying some content or tables from Microsoft word to online editor with ezpublish 3.6.1 and the xhtml code generated by ezpublish is embedding class="MsoNormal with paragraph tags. Can anybody help, I am using 4.0.2 version of online editor. Otherwise I have report it as bug. Please help. Smith

While copying a table from the Microsoft word into the Online Editor, generates lot of rubbish Code. Please confirm is that buggy. The code which the online editor is generating is given below:
