Hi,

Is there any documentation, schemes or description available of what node assignments vs. tree nodes are at the API level, what their purpose, usage, dependencies, etc..? I've read several forum topics as well as have some expectations and experiences, but this is not confident knowledge and would like some authoritative revision... I've also tried looking for answers in the class files, but classes themselves will take some time to read (and especially understand), and the PHP Doc...:

/*!
  \class eZNodeAssignment eznodeassignment.php
  \brief The class eZNodeAssignment does...

This reminds me of Monty Python's Castle of Aaaaa... ;)

I'd be grateful for any pointers.

Hi Piotrek

Per version of a content object its node assignments are stored, compared to the actual tree nodes which reflect the current locations of a content object in the tree.
